Brilliant day, the weather held and everyone had a great day, well done to Erica and her team and everyone who made the day a great success!!

Busy Weekend in Cheshire Ice Cream Land

Saturday saw the busiest day of the year for the whippy team. Firstly we attended the popular Marple carnival with our friends: mrwhippyicecream.co.uk which was a great success. The weather stayed fine for most of the day and many families had a fantastic day.

Next, pausing only for fuel and stock it was straight off to Poynton for the "Party in the Park" where we literally hit the ground running.

It was a fantastic evening and hundreds of people had a great night. A lot of effort must have gone into the event, congratulations to Poynton Rotary and James Burling who pulled a rabbit from the hat after being let down.

To wind down on Sunday, re-stock and thoroughly clean the van, we attended a small football event at Richmond Rovers in Hazel Grove where they were holding their  2013 Anglo-Dutch Football Tournament and once again the weather held and everyone had a great time.
At all of these events we were able to make a donation to great community or charitable causes.

Last but not least, back to Yew Tree on Monday as usual

Has Summer Arrived ??

Well fingers crossed it looks like Summer has arrived, the weekend saw a great day at Deva on Saturday for the Fun Day. One of the organisers told me it may be the last one, which would be a shame.

Still to look forward to in Poynton, the following events:

29th June - Poynton Fun Day @ the Leisure Centre

14th  July - Higher Poynton Summerfest

On Sunday we attended a small birthday party on Parklands and fed many customers in Poynton, Bollington and Tytherington.

Monday was back to Yew Tree as usual, and later on feeding another of our doggie friends

Thats tasty

Quality Always Counts...

We like to think we go the extra mile to give our customers what they expect - and often more!

• Bright, clean and colourful vans
• A wide range of ice cream and other delights
• Only top quality products
• Traditional sense of fun
• Friendly staff who enjoy their work
• Flexibility to be on hand when and where you wish

At the end of the day, we live by our reputation - we want you to come back for more and tell your friends!

Adding to the Atmosphere

Whatever kind of event you are involved with, the ice cream man helps to create a fun atmosphere and set the tone for enjoyment.

People often like something they are familiar with, and everyone gets a positive vibe from a brightly coloured van with lots of activity going on.

Another benefit of our events service is that your hard-pressed volunteers are involved in no extra work, so they can get on with their own responsibilities unhindered.

CHARITIES: we are happy to make a donation as sponsors to any event you are organising for non-profit purposes, whether you are a large organisationor a small local charity. When you book us we'll make the best agreement we can.

Air Ambulance drops in for a whippy

Whilst covering a Rugby tournament in Wilmslow for: mrwhippyicecream.co.uk the Air Ambulance dropped in.

I have no info as to who needed treatment or the outcome, hopefully they were fine and fully recovered.
