Fantastic Day today

Our first visit was to High Lane primary school where they were having their annual summer fair, the weather was great and everyone had a fantasic day

Mr Whippy was kept busy with lots of ice creams for the children, some even brought their mums & dads

Well done to everyone for making a great success of the day, we know how much work goes into these events and we look forward to seeing you all next year

Mr Whippy was far from done though and had to whip away to some children in Prestbury before visiting even more happy people in Macclesfield

We finished our events for the day at a small wedding, serving the delighted guests with their frozen treats

Finally we managed a flying visit to Poynton to serve some of our regular customers, but sadly it was far too late to visit everyone as we would have liked

Wilmslow High School Annual Wizard Walk

We were delighted once again, to provide much needed ice cream and treats, to the students and staff at Wilmslow High School as they returned from their annual Alderley Edge Wizard Walk.

Many thanks to Mark Vincent and his team, as well as the patience of the students as we served them as quickly as possible, well done to all

Busy Weekend in Cheshire Ice Cream Land

Saturday saw the busiest day of the year for the whippy team. Firstly we attended the popular Marple carnival with our friends: mrwhippyicecream.co.uk which was a great success. The weather stayed fine for most of the day and many families had a fantastic day.

Next, pausing only for fuel and stock it was straight off to Poynton for the "Party in the Park" where we literally hit the ground running.

It was a fantastic evening and hundreds of people had a great night. A lot of effort must have gone into the event, congratulations to Poynton Rotary and James Burling who pulled a rabbit from the hat after being let down.

To wind down on Sunday, re-stock and thoroughly clean the van, we attended a small football event at Richmond Rovers in Hazel Grove where they were holding their  2013 Anglo-Dutch Football Tournament and once again the weather held and everyone had a great time.
At all of these events we were able to make a donation to great community or charitable causes.

Last but not least, back to Yew Tree on Monday as usual
