Busy Weekend in Cheshire Ice Cream Land

Saturday saw the busiest day of the year for the whippy team. Firstly we attended the popular Marple carnival with our friends: which was a great success. The weather stayed fine for most of the day and many families had a fantastic day.

Next, pausing only for fuel and stock it was straight off to Poynton for the "Party in the Park" where we literally hit the ground running.

It was a fantastic evening and hundreds of people had a great night. A lot of effort must have gone into the event, congratulations to Poynton Rotary and James Burling who pulled a rabbit from the hat after being let down.

To wind down on Sunday, re-stock and thoroughly clean the van, we attended a small football event at Richmond Rovers in Hazel Grove where they were holding their  2013 Anglo-Dutch Football Tournament and once again the weather held and everyone had a great time.
At all of these events we were able to make a donation to great community or charitable causes.

Last but not least, back to Yew Tree on Monday as usual
