After a busy day at Wilmslow High school, we dashed back and served the pupils of Poynton High their usual ice creams and drinks, we continued around the village as the rare sun stayed with us.
At the very end of the day (long past Mr Whippy's bedtime) we stayed to serve some of the lucky scouts at Deva playing fields after their sports day.
Well done the scouts

Cheshire Whippy was very busy today at Wilmslow High School
We attended Wilmslow High school where around 800 pupils had walked to Alderley Edge and back, and what spurred many of them on, was the thought of a cool whippy ice cream waiting for them.
We are not too sure what the walk was in aid of, but thanks to Mr Vincent and Mr Munro and all the staff and pupils for their support

Will Summer return?
The great British weather, what would we do without it to talk about? So far June has been a challenging month for the whippy trade but luckily we have only had to cancel one pre-booked event.
It has meant however that we have not been out and about in between as normal on the streets.
Let's all hope the summer returns with a vengence.

Margot's 6th Birthday in Macclesfield
After the wet but fun day at Poynton embrace games, the whippy team took off to Macclesfield where Margot and all her friends were eagerly awaiting our arrival.
All the children jumped into the whippy van and with lots of giggles and fun, each one made themselves their own fresh whippy ice cream, they didn't spill a drop, well done girls!!

Poynton 2012 Embrace the Games:
Despite the rain, the day was a great success and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The Mayor turned up as did many children and parents.
Quite a few residents enjoyed a whippy in the rain, as did the 2448 squadron (ATC)
Well done to Erica and her team for staging the event.

We also serve the Duchess of Cambridge
Mr Whippy recently had the pleasure of serving the Queen a tasty cor(o)net during the jubilee, we have recently discoverd Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge also loves a whippy.
The only downside of serving the Royals, is of course, you don't get paid.

Cheshire Whippy serves the Queen
Over the Jubilee weekend we attended many celebrations including Churchwood Financial Services staff party, where we had the pleasure to serve "Her Majesty" one of our favourite vanilla whippy ice creams. She declined our offer of sprinkles saying she preffered "sparkles" The day was a great success, many thanks to Rob and Chris at Churchwood.
We also attended Limefield Street party at Mile End Lane and York Road in Bowden. We visited some of our regulars in Bramhall and Poynton in between the showers.
