Bank Holiday weather in Poynton

Poynton Whippy is watching the weather very closely today (Saturday) If it is raining heavily we will take a break from service.
It is forecast to be dry and bright on Sunday and Holiday Monday - If so, we will be out to bring you your Poynton Whippy ice creams as usual.

Poynton Whippy Ice Cream

Started off the day at Bowerfield nursing home in Disley for their first anniversary. The residents, staff and guests all enjoyed their ice creams.
From there it was straight to Poynton high for the hungry, thirsty pupils at the end of a hard days study (we hope)

Finally the whippy van had a brisk trade around the homes of most residents and a brief visit to the Deva bowl skatepark.

It was a relief at 7pm when the engineer rang to service the whippy machine ready for the summer. The weather forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend is not too good at the moment so fingers crossed. The Whippy van will be out on Friday but Saturday may be cancelled if it is cold and raining as predicted.

Hottest day of the year so far in Poynton??

Well that's what the weathermen say (so it will probably snow) The Poynton Whippy will be out and about regardless, serving residents with ice cream, sweets and drinks.
